IIMBE UK Turns 1
Posted 30th Mar, 2026

IIMBE UK turns one. Six years in, we’re building something bigger.

Expanding into the UK wasn’t a given. It was a deliberate step into a new market, with different expectations, different relationships, and no shortcuts.

There’s risk in that. You’re asking your model, and your people, to stand up in a completely new environment.

That’s what this first year has really been about.

Under the leadership of Dave Lee and Dave Peacock, we’ve gone from entry to traction. Not by reinventing what we do, but by staying consistent in how we do it. The same approach that’s been shaped over six years in Australia, tested across complex projects and demanding clients, is now being applied in the UK.

Because IIMBE isn’t just a set of services. It’s a way of working.

We focus on connecting three things that are often fragmented across projects:

Define → Deliver → Enable

  • Define the right strategy, requirements, and information upfront
  • Deliver with structure, coordination, and control
  • Enable long-term value through usable, trusted asset data

That’s the difference between projects that “complete”, and assets that actually perform.

At the core is a simple idea: most projects and organisations struggle because strategy, delivery, and operations sit in silos. Information gets created, but it doesn’t flow. Teams report, but don’t always see clearly. Assets get delivered, but don’t always perform as intended.

Our model is built to close that gap.

We focus on getting the fundamentals right at the start, defining clear requirements, standards, and outcomes. From there, we bring structure and discipline to delivery, ensuring information is coordinated, assured, and aligned with what the project actually needs. But the real value comes after that, enabling that information to carry through into operations, where it can drive better decisions, performance, and long-term asset value.

That’s where the difference shows up.

Across sectors, from aviation to data centres and complex mixed-use developments, we keep seeing the same patterns. Large volumes of data, but limited clarity. Significant reporting effort, but not always meaningful insight. Handover processes that complete, but don’t fully translate into operational value.

So the focus stays consistent.

Make information usable.

Make delivery more certain.

Make assets perform over time.

The services we’re known for (Information Management, Digital Delivery, Golden Thread, Digital Advisory, Program-led data governance) are just part of that picture. What matters more is how they’re applied: embedded with teams, aligned to outcomes, and accountable to delivery.

And none of this happens without people.

Building a presence in a new market requires trust – clients willing to engage, partners willing to collaborate, and a team willing to back the vision and do the work properly.

That’s what’s made the first year possible.

To everyone who has supported IIMBE UK so far, thank you.

This is just the beginning.
